Welcome to Badco's Adventure ..In the coming moments I will attempt to walk you thru ten years of badco history.
The story starts with two guy's working on street lights in Pueblo Colo- Ronnie Ross And Brett Marshall.
We were aproached by some nice locals and asked if we wanted to play some golf thinking that they meant the traditional kind. We laughed and said we don't play golf.
They then explained to us that this was a different kind of golf and we would love it. We decided to give it a go and off we went, From that point on, we were hooked.

Badco Disc Golf Club/ Black Ace Disc Company are commited to the support of the sport of disc golf in the Denver area. We feel we have a obligation to the Parks and Recreation Dept., the City officials or whomever we are representing to show them that the lands that they have allocated for the use of disc golf is being used for a worth while cause and some awesome fun. In choosing sites for our courses we wanted to show how we could bring people to a park that was seldom used and do it on a regular basis. And that the type of people we bring together would be of all origins and occupations. They would come from near and far. But most of all they would come to play. Disc Golf. So we felt we needed to have a few organized event for all the disc golf community to become a part of and get more involved with the sport of disc golf.

The Easter Seals of Colorado Organization asked Badco Disc Golf Club to come to the Easter Seals Rocky Mnt. Village Camp in Empire Co. to see if it was a suitable site for a disc golf course. And to ask us to design and construct them a disc golf course for all to come out and enjoy. The course was constructed in 2002 and is a 27 hole course. It has all baskets, some concrete pads and some rubber mats. The course is a little extreme in places but, the scenery is spectacular. The course is under new management and has a new schedule Fridays 2 untill dusk and Saturdays 9 untill dusk. Also some new rules have been posted. They are NO smoking or drinking alcohol on course. Plus we ask for a 5$ donation which goes to the camp not the course.

It's time again for the 3rd Annual Denver Classic Tournament.
July 29th and 30th, 2006
This event was started to promote disc golf in the Denver metro area. We felt that Denver being the capital of the state it needed it's own annual tournament to show the general public how well disc golf fits into a major sports city like Denver. Since we started the event it has grown each year. It has attracted veteran players from all over the state, as well as the new players wanting to test their skills against Colorado's best. The Denver Classic has grown from a C-tier to a B-tier due to your request.
We are doing all we can to make this your most enjoyable event and a unforgettable time. But we can't do this alone it takes the efforts of all the Denver disc golf community. In order to have this event we need the help and support from you. We need sponsors to help fund the event as well as players to participate in the event. So we are asking you, the citizens of Denver and the state of Colorado, for your support. There are many way in which you could help, such as cash donations, merchandise donation, helping with the event, etc. Like helping with the course setup, putting out water, putting out baskets and lending a hand with the score cards. Remember this event is for you, so please help out any way you feel you can. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
