Time again for the 7th Annual Denver Classic. One of the most popular and funest Disc Golf Tournaments you will ever want to participate in. We have 15 divisions so there is one for everyone. If your just starting out no matter your age ,skill level or gender we have a division for you. The Denver Classic is a B tier CDSA and PDGA sanctioned event, and is a serious tournament but we strive to make it as fun and enjoyable as humanly possible. After all we are playing at the Badlands Disc Golf Course. Know to be one of the finest course in the Denver area. Badlands is known for it s rolling hills, trees, water hazards, elevated tees, marshs heat and oh yea the BLAIR WITCH 9 tight, challenging, frustrating, technical holes you'll enjoy playing. Just don't let the witch get to you. I advise you not to play alone. It's more fun with friends.

Badco Disc Golf Club is celebrating the tenth anniversaty of the Badlands Disc Golf Course at 90th and Camenisch Way, Hyland Hills Park and Reacreation District, Federal heights Colorado. It was Designed and installed in 1999 and has grown from a 18 hole disc golf course to a now 27 hole disc golf course. We will be celebrating by sponsoring the 6th Annual Denver Classic Disc Golf Tournament at this premier tournament course. The course has under gone many changes durning it's history and is known as one of the areas finist courses. In 1999 the young Badco Disc Golf Club wanted to design a course that would stand up to the test of time. We seeked out some of the area best know disc golf enthusiasts, like Bill Wright and Scott Holter to help us with the original 18 hole lay out. The course is now 27 holes with 88 multiple pin locations which are moved every two months to show the versatility of this challinging course. When you think you have the lay out down it's changed to a different pin location which frustrates some, but invigerates others. With it's rolling hills, elevated tees, multipule trees and water hazards it tends to make you a smarter and better disc golfer, which was the designers purpose to start with. Besides the Denver Classic the Badlands Disc Golf Course host, Badlands Random Draw Doubles every Saturday at noon for the last 10 years. This event which in the past was run by Jason Rosenbaum has helped to pay for 6 of the original 18 baskets provided by the Wright Life in Ft Collins. We also host the Denver Tags another event which helps to pay for the course. Badco Disc Golf Club is a nonprofit organization Whos key goal is the expantion of of the sport of disc golf. We want to expand the sport not by the growth of our club, but by helping to increase the number of courses in the meto area and increasing the number of people who play disc golf. We say it dosn't matter what age you are we cater to people from 8 to 88. So when ever you participate in a Badco event or play at a Badco course you are helping to support the growth of disc golf and you local disc golf course so thank you all and check us out at Badcodisc.com.

Thunder Mountain Disc Golf Tournaments August 30th and 31st. This will be our first sanctioned event at this course. It's 27 hole and has a variaty of throws. The mountain ponds, aspen groves, Rocky Mountain terrain and thousands of pines just add to the adventure. We will play one round a day. This will give everyone time to enjoy the surrounding area.George Town, Empire and Idaho Springs have a mystic of their own. With their shops, cafes and museums. If your in to that. Or just more time to take in the Rocky Mountain Village and Thunder Mountain Disc golf Course.
Note: We are hoping to be able to use the zip line to make ace runs at hole 26. The zip line comes off the climing wall and out in to the meadow over hole 26. If that sounds like fun come out and check it out after first round on Saturday.
