| I know you guys are really busy but is it possible to maybe change the baskets at Paco around every month or so. The current layout has been there for a while, especially that pesky 755 ft. #13. |

| Hi Draggon I move the basket every two months. I went out to move them Saturady but there was a disc golf event going on so I was asked to wait untill they were through. But after the event the wind picked up and it turned nasty. So I only got to move two baskets. I will be moving them to one of the location we have not used yet. I will move # 13 but I'll probable move some other location long. What the old saying? Be careful of what you wish for it might come true. I will move Baskets this week and then again in November. I f you have a favorite location let me know I will try to work with you as much as possible. Thanks Ronnie. Catch you later. |

I haven't noticed any of the baskets moved since the big arm challenge. It's been pretty tough out there, especially on windy days. I get out there at least once a week and have seen more than a few frustrated golfers walk off the course or quit after 1-7 because of all the long placements. Not that I mind the longs that much but there are a lot of great placements that aren't being utilized regularly.
If you need any help moving baskets I'd be happy to give you a hand, or I'll just do it for you if you like, then you don't have to ever worry about it. I live nearby and get out there at least once a week. I could move one or two a week to keep a fresh rotation and nice mix of long, med, and short.
just offering some help, I hope to see you out on the course soon,
peace,
-mike |

| Haven't been out this week than have you? I moved the baskets saturday. Had alot of request to leave them long, but it's only fair to move them to some of the more challenging positions. The baskets are short, long and medium. Will be in this position untill July. Catch you later. |

Just wanted to let you know that off to the left of the sidewalk as you approach hole #15 is a big bunch of poison ivy. It's been there all along but now that all those trees are cut down it is very exposed.
Also after the #15 tee pad there is more in and along the first 2 dirt paths down to the lower section to cross the creek. It might be better to follow the sidewalk to about pin high, just to be safe.
pass it along to your group or anyone else you might see around there,
-mike
btw, leaflets 3, let it be, in case you don't know what it looks like it, it has 3 leaves with the middle one sticking out further (google it for pics) |

I just heard that the baskets were pulled at Paco today. Any ideas why and when they'll be back?
Sure would be a bummer to lose this great course for any extended amount of time.

| It's not going to be for a couple of years. They don't want anyone getting hurt because of the construction. I't a three year project we'll watch and see. And hope to get it back as soon as possible. I'll let you know what's up when I know. Catch you later Ronnie. |

Thanks for the info Ronnie. At least we've been able to play them for the last year and a half.
Any chance on putting them up somewhere else? Instead of sitting in storage for a few years.
A winter only course at City Park would be awesome. All they need is to put in 18 sleeves, we could make up tee pad areas and mark them with flags.
I know, I know...but it's a nice dream. |
