| The King of the Mountain Tournament is this weekend. The event is for bragging rights to the Thunder Mountain Disc Golf Course. You can say on this day I was the best and I have the trophy to prove it. The event is to raise money for course improvements. As of date we have paid for 28 baskets. And hope to install 9 more. There is a new director at the Easter Seal Camp and with the new comes new rules. First no camping, no bands, no fires, no alcohol sold ( byo ) and no smoking or drinking alcohol on disc golf course. But you can smoke and drink at the pavillon. Remember you can play either Saturday or Sunday or both. Best round of weekend wins. Just to make it fair there is a handicap since all divsions compete against each other. 0 to 10 pro to jr.s. You can replay round for more money. Catch you later Ronnie. |

| Hello eveyone we held the King of the Mountain Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Easter Seals. The winner of the trophy was Zac Martin with a -4. Second place was Logan Miller and third place went to Matt James. Just wanted to thank all those who came out. Especially Jayson and Melanie from Steamboat Springs and Tom who came all the from Wales. Thanks again for you participation. On another note the course is open 7 days a week now from 9 to dusk. And it is a $5 dollar fee, since no one has been putting in donations we are forced to ask for a fee. Which goes to the camp to help out with their youth programs. Not to the course for improvements. So if you chose not to pay the fee you are in a since stealing from the camp and the handicap children. I noticed sevaral groups of golfer who were not at the course for the tournament, but just to enjoy the course but didn't even give a donation. Yea pretty sad, but we can't watch everyone. Let you conscious be you guide. Where else can you play for four hours with such spectacular scenery and a course that offers you challenges like no other. well enough said. Just remember the course is open 7 day a week year round. For more info call Ronnie @ 303-808-6776 or email me at ronnie@badcodisc.com. Thanks again and I'll catch you later Ronnie |
