Had a meeting with city planner, contractor and parks dept. Wednesday. To go over the plans to get the course back to playing condition. The light rail construction is 70% finished. I gave them a list of all thing that need to be done as far as the course goes. They agree that eveything looks go as far as the course is concerned. I think you'll like the improvement. There are some pedistrain problem, but I think we have a solution for them we just need to get them approved. Once these solutions are approved I believe we can strart reconstruction on the course. There are 10 holes that need to be redesigned, 8 original and 2 possibly new holes. I will keep you informed as soon as I know more. Watch web site for more info.

I'll be going to Lakewood Dry Gulch Wednesday September 28th at 9:00 to check out the progress of the constuction and see what needs to be done to put course back in playing condition. If any current Badco members would like to come out and make some suggestions you are welcome. Sorry about the short notice but I just found out myself. I will be looking for any changes to the course from construction and what to do to make this course even better than before. Well see you there.

I had a great walk through with the contractor. We will be pouring pads in a couple of month and hope to be open in the spring. I am curently going over the new plans from RTD to show all the new revisions I want the contractor to make. The new holes will be better than the old ones if you can imagine that. Will keep you up dated as much as I can.

Just finished the final lay out of the new tee pads and pin placements. Contractor says he don't see way they can't get started pouring pads in the next few weeks. There is a lot of new plants and grass that need to catch hold before they will let use play on the course. Looks like spring opening will keep you informed. I have spent three day at the course and would like to play. I would be will to put out 9 temp baskets if enough player were interested. I am raising money for inter chains at Badlands and say for $ 5 a head I would set up a one day 9 hole course. What do you think? Give me feed back.
